   During my attendance at The Makeup Show LA, I bought, well....a few things! One of my purchases was something I usually do not go for, a lash growth product. The first thing that brought me to the booth was a fabulous long pair of eyelashes that caught my eye from 50 feet away!    As you can see from the photos, yes it works! It took about 4 weeks to see a real difference, but after that, it seems that every two weeks, the results were amazing!

   Just a little background info....A few years ago, I decided to get eyelash extensions. I had them for a year, getting them maintained every two weeks. When I had them removed due to irritation, my lashes were ruined. Even after a year, they were thin and sparse. I tried Latisse, which worked, but the side effects were too much for me. I had an eyebrow twitch that would not stop, darkening of my eyelid and it burned. Not worth it to me. GrandeLash MD saved my lashes and my eyes!

*NYX's New Extreme Lip Creams*

This is me :) Rockin' NYX's new Extreme Lip Cream in Strawberry Jam. I cannot say enough about this new lip product!!! I usually wear OCC's Lip Tars due to their highly pigmented color and long wear capabilities. The only thing was, they are not travel friendly at all. I would have to put a bit extra on a retractable lip brush for my nights out. Friends, I have found my solution!!!!

Not only are the colors super pigmented, but they last hours!!!! I do not even need a lipliner to create the perfect pout. Touch ups are a breeze and the colors are gorgeous. I have five of them so far :)

Top to bottom are Buttery Nude (the perfect nude for my fair/porcelain skin), Candyland (Cool candy pink), Dolly Girl (Blue based hot pink), Strawberry Jam (My fave! A hot magenta) and Absolute Red (a vintage blood red).





This lippie is my new obsession. Not sticky or dry...just right!!!! It is opaque, not see through at all, so if you are looking for a gloss, stay clear...this is for full power lip color! If I could create my own lip product, this would be it!!!!! I bought these for my personal makeup stash, but will definitely be purchasing these for my kit to use on clients :)

Th bottle looks like magic, but it's what is inside that makes it happen! On a recent trip to one of my favorite pro beauty supply stores, I was browsing aimlessly when my eyes caught this gorgeous bottle. I have heard about it before, but never saw it in person. I figured for the price (with my lovely pro discount or without) was worth a try and this is why...

See that red in my not naturally black hair? It took almost 4 hours of work to get it there! The bleach took a toll on my hair, made it weak and suseptable to breakage. With that said I loved it! I wanted to keep it up, but knew the products I use to keep it that way would eventually ruin my hair :(

Well.....I started using Black 15 in 1 Miracle Hair Treatment right away. With the first use, I was delighted! Oh joy! My hair felt amazing! It was soft on the ends of the red in my hair, which had been a bit crispy since the torture. The breakage almost completely stopped. It dried faster and was smooth as glass, without a straightening iron. I have naturally curly hair, so that is not an easy task. Not to mention, no tangles! Which brings me to this....

My 14 year old son has gorgeous, long, naturally curly hair. He refuses to get it cut, but also refuses to brush it daily, due to his super sensitive scalp. Yes! I am calling him out! So as usual, his hair was an impossible mess...he actually had the start of a few dreadlocks! I thought i was going to have to cut his hair...he was terrified.

I busted out my 15 in 1 and sprayed it directly onto the baby dreads and they simply brushed out with hardly any resistance. I was in disbelief...nothing has worked like that on his hair! He was ecstatic! He kept his lovely locks and the pain was not as bad. Now, everytime he brushes his hair, he asks if we have anymore of that "really good hair stuff". Not only is it detangled, but there is no frizz and his curls are bouncy. I am serious...I pull them and they bounce!

Sadly, I ran out over the holidays and haven't been back to that store. It was a good test though. My hair is still healthy, but I miss the shine and lack of frizz. My son misses it too! So back to the store I go today!
